All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Madurai (AIIMS Madurai) is an AIIMS public medical university of higher education under the jurisdiction of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India that is located at Thoppur near Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. AIIMS Madurai was announced in 2015 and the institute was established in 2021. The institution runs a medical college within the campus. The medical college has 50 UG (MBBS) seats. As the construction of the campus is not completed, classes of the first batch were taken at the Ramanathapuram Medical College. The college started with 50 students in April 2022, from the academic session 2021–2022.
